About Us

Established in 2021 by Dan Foss, Maine Wildlife Transport emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the wildlife community after identifying an extensive daily need for wildlife transportation. What started out as a small facebook group with a handful of helpful Maine individuals quickly turned into a nonprofit organization with a solid mission: to rescue, stabilize, and transport ill, injured, or orphaned wildlife to a licensed rehabilitation center within the state of Maine.
